COVID-19: News and Campus Updates

UNC Housing and Dining Services continues to provide room and board rates that are usually the lesser priced option when compared to off-campus housing living costs (rent, utilities, maintenance fees and grocery shopping).

Students living in Harrison Hall, Lawrenson Hall, can stay in their rooms during winter and spring breaks. All other students who wish to stay on campus during the break periods will be placed in temporary housing. 

Below are the 2022-2023 rates for each our residence halls.

*Rates and tiers are subject to change pending approval by the Board of Trustees. **All leases (contracts) are for the full academic year.  You are billed for housing 2 times during the academic year: in August for the fall term and in December for the spring term. ***Harrison and Lawrenson Halls are open during the break periods at no additional cost.

Below are the 2022-2023 rates for each of the Arlington Park Apartments. All apartments are furnished and have a kitchen, living room and separate bedrooms. Students living in Arlington Park Apartments can stay in their rooms during winter and spring breaks. 

Fall Semester Charge (August 17-December 31, 2021

Spring Semester Charge (January 1-May 31, 2022)

Summer Semester Charge (June 1-July 31, 2022)

*Rates are subject to change pending approval by the Board of Trustees and availability of room type. **Utilities are added to your semester charge on your bill. Utilities are based on the style of apartment and utility costs.

Semester Rates (for Academic Year 2022-2023)

Any Meal, Any Time (includes 10 bonus meals + $100 dining dollars) $3,533/sem

19 Meals/Week (includes 15 bonus meals + $150 dining dollars) $3,283/sem

14 Meals/Week (includes 20 bonus meals + $200 dining dollars) $2,999/sem

10 Meals/Week Upperclassmen Only (includes 25 bonus meals + $250 dining dollars) = $2,675/sem

5 Meals/Week Upperclassmen Only (includes 30 bonus meals + $300 dining dollars) $1,873/sem
